And our world would have plunged into darkness if it weren't for the brave blacksmith Paarvo, who outsmarted the fierce troll — and he himself came out ahead. The tale of the outstanding Swedish-Finnish writer of the 19th century has not aged a bit — and returns to us in a modern guise.
