Mother tried to convince Fyodor not to go on the trip until the last moment — she had a bad feeling. But the young man wanted to leave too much and start an independent life, so of course he did... not listen to her pleas. It all started like usual: a standard compartment, pleasant fellow travelers. But with each passing hour, the train frightened Fyodor more and more: the neighbors unexpectedly changed, there were no stops along the way, and a strange conductor forbade him from leaving the compartment. To top it all, Fyodor learned that the train had no driver, and it was impossible to disembark at will. This train has no final station and no intermediate stops, and the relentless conductor decides when and where the journey ends for each passenger…
