Ada Lace is Looking for a Criminal

Ada Lace — a third grader, scientist, and inventor — makes a terrible discovery. Her neighbor's beloved Yorkshire Terrier has been kidnapped! Ada's new quirky classmate, Nina, is convinced that aliens have stolen the dog. But Nina also believes in omens, the evil eye, and supernatural phenomena. Ada is convinced that the true kidnapper can only be found with the help of science and technology — that is, the most modern gadgets. With each new step in the investigation, it becomes clear: Ada and Nina are so different... that they could very well become best friends!
