The Structure of Magical Operations

Usually, books on magic come in two types. They are either a Compendium - a collection of rituals with comments on their proper conduct, or a Grimoire - a collection of rituals without any comments at all, with spells at best given in the transliteration of the Russian language with a literal translation, and sometimes - in the original language with no translation whatsoever.
