Fir

A small fluffy fir tree grows in the forest. The sun warms it with its gentle rays, birds sing wonderful songs, and village children admire it and enjoy resting nearby. But the fir tree notices none of this: it wants to grow up quickly to become a mast on a ship and set sail, or perhaps even become a wonderful decoration for a home at Christmas.
