Time is cyclical. The moon waxes and wanes each month, the Wheel of the Year turns. There is a wheel of human life, which consists of four phases. The Romans called them pueritia (childhood), iuventus (youth), virilitas (maturity), and senectia... (old age). These phases corresponded to the seasons. We are children in spring, full of youthful passions in summer, reach maturity in autumn, and grow old in winter. A similar cycle is undertaken by the Great Wheel (saeculum), which is divided into eight segments. Each period lasts approximately ten years, and a full turn takes about eighty years. We go around in a clockwise direction, experiencing each season in turn. It is impossible to skip a season or turn the wheel back and return to a previous period without completing a full circle. The book describes in detail the period of Winter, or crisis, that humanity is going through right now. It discusses how to survive it most effectively, what lessons to learn, which rituals to conduct, and how to be on the crest of a wave during a storm. You will also be able to determine to which generation (the Greatest, Silent, Lost, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, Missionaries, Progressive, and Generation Homeland) you belong and what your role is in this challenging period of history. The Wheel of the Year is connected to periods of human life and the cyclicality of the historical process. It is the Great Wheel of Generations, which pertains to society as a whole, which the ancient Romans referred to as the "great" or saeculum. In spring, society makes plans, develops vigorously, and is full of optimism. In summer, some of these plans are realized, while others become sources of conflict. Ideologies that contradict each other emerge. In autumn, growth slows down, clouds thicken, and conflicts become increasingly apparent. In winter, they escalate into a crisis, and often a real war of the end of the era. There are winners and losers. Conflicts are resolved, conclusions are drawn, and the cycle begins anew. Today we live in a secular Winter and are approaching its culmination. The author invites us to explore how the previous seculum unfolded and specifically the last secular Winter from 1925 to 1945, what role each generation played in this. She also addresses the beginning of the current Winter. After all, to know where we are going, each individually and all together, we need to understand how we got here. Keeping a journal and meditating will help to explore ourselves and our own life paths more deeply. Then, the periods of Winter are examined in more detail, each in turn: what to expect and what steps to take to survive and succeed in an era of upheaval. We cannot make Winter go away or speed up the change of seasons, but we can take measures to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and society in times of storm. In other words, knowledge of the ocean tells us, sailors, that a storm is coming. With the help of stories, exercises, and rituals, you will pave your way through the crisis. And finally, together with the author, you will glimpse into the future... In 2030, Spring will come. What will it be like? By analyzing current trends,...
