School Nightmares and Other Terrible Stories

The book «School Nightmares and Other Terrible Stories» includes two novellas by Galina Gordienko about the creepy and incredible adventures of third-grader Taika Romanova – «Nightmares of the 21st School» and «Exchanging a Boy for a Girl».
One day, the girl comes across an ancient wooden box belonging to her great-grandmother.

However, the mysterious object holds not jewels at all… It turns out, Taika's great-grandmother was a witch, and now she wants to pass on her gift (or curse?) to her great-granddaughter. Is Taika ready for such a «gift»?
