Alexei Mikhailovich Remizov is a unique Russian writer. His extraordinarily vivid and rich imagination, colorful language, - all of this is fully reflected in the book "Posolon," which opens up a peculiar, one-of-a-kind magical world to the reader.
The book presents... the most complete collection of Remizov's tales. The author aims to revive the myth of the harmonious wholeness of the world and its cyclicity. Each season corresponds to ancient rites and legends, the echoes of which, gathered piece by piece by the author, bring us tales, children's games, riddles, and counting rhymes.
The book is illustrated by the outstanding artist Vera Vladimirovna Pavlova.
About the illustrator: Vera Pavlova (1952-2015) was a talented artist and children's book illustrator. She graduated from the Higher School of Art and Industry named after V. Mukhin in Leningrad. She participated multiple times in exhibitions and professional competitions. Vera Pavlova was awarded an Honorary Diploma of the International Hans Christian Andersen Award.
