Inscriptions made with POSCA markers adhere well to porous surfaces such as wood, cardboard, fabric, stone, some plastics, and metals; the paint remains permanent without the use of any fixatives. In some cases (painting, custom decorations, embellishment), a fixative spray can be used to protect your works for an extended period. Drawings can be erased from most smooth, non-porous materials such as glass, PVC, and metal surfaces, so they can be used for temporary displays in windows and mirrors. When using markers on paper, the ink does not bleed through the sheets.
