This book begins with sad news: the excursion to the museum for schoolchildren Misha and Lena is canceled. But resourceful parents urgently call grandma and turn the apartment into a museum. How? Quite simply!

In the children's bedroom, there are stories... about how the first beds, armchairs, and sofas appeared, where the chair and table "came from." In the kitchen, one will learn about the history of dishes and sweets. Even the wardrobe became a separate object for the excursion: it turned out to have many things with a history: from mittens to socks! Grandma, the guide, easily and enthusiastically told her grandchildren about who invented domestic electric helpers. And in the bathroom, grandma didn't hesitate but talked about ancient toothbrushes, toilet paper, and revealed the secret of ancient toothpaste. The final museum hall "Pantry" unveiled real secrets: about the first balls, sunglasses, old alarm clocks, dad's pencil, and mom's pen, as well as an old umbrella, a well-traveled suitcase, a bicycle, and even a balance bike!

As soon as grandma's umbrella with a "duck" handle soared above Misha and Lena's heads, the children immediately heard the guide's hints about which other museum one could learn a lot about the exhibits.

At the end of the book, the children will learn the most important grandma's secret: where does she know so much from? But for future readers, let this remain a mystery for now!
