This manual contains all the necessary material for preparing a child for school. The book consists of three sections.
The task of the first section of the manual — 'The Primer' — is to form in the child the initial skills of reading and writing. The child will learn about sounds and letters, syllables and stress, types of words and sentences, memorize vowels and consonants, learn to compose and read syllables, words, and simple sentences, as well as write capital letters.
The task of the second section — 'Mathematics' — is to introduce the child in a playful manner to flat and volumetric shapes, as well as to digits and numbers up to ten. The child will learn about direct and reverse order of numbers, neighboring numbers, learn to use a ruler, tell time on a clock, write digits, and solve simple examples and mathematical problems.
In the third section — 'Logic, Attention, and Memory' — you will find many interesting tasks for the development of logical thinking, perseverance, and concentration, as well as for improving various types of memory: figurative, verbal-logical, visual, and auditory.
