The Sea Wolf

Young writer Humphrey Van Weyden was just about to cross the San Francisco bay on a ship, but due to a shipwreck, he found himself a hostage aboard the schooner "Ghost," where everything is subject to the whims of the cruel and authoritative captain known as Wolf Larsen. The gentle and idealistic city boy had to learn not only the ways of the sea but also how to survive in a harsh new world. The capriciousness and brutality of the captain, the treachery and intrigues of the crew members - how can one maintain their humanity in these conditions? And how important are honor and dignity if your life hangs by a thread? Everything becomes even more complicated when young poetess Maud Brewster arrives on the schooner.
