Cherry and Cranberry

Cherry Sullivan lives with her dad. She often sits alone by the window of their large, multi-story house, looking at the street, at the people rushing back and forth, at the running and playing children. And every morning, Cherry watches as her dad's gray truck drives up to the shelter for lost animals, bringing with it a multitude of dogs, cats, and chinchillas.
