Winter During the War

December 1944. The Netherlands has been under occupation for five years. Michiel is sixteen, and he lives in constant fear. Recently, all the men were hanged from lampposts in a neighboring village. And yesterday, the neighbors were arrested. Everyone has a relative forced to hide from the Nazis, or a friend in a concentration camp. Only the mayor, Michiel's father, is holding back the brutality of the occupiers with all his strength.
And now - a friend's request, caught in the Gestapo's clutches.

The request is vital - and deadly dangerous. Michiel can't handle it alone. But whom can he trust? Who will dare to help? For any resistance or disobedience - execution…
