The Nutcracker

The Christmas story of the German romantic E. T. A. Hoffmann from the 19th century "The Nutcracker" delights and fascinates more than one generation of children and adults. Even after 200 years, it stirs our imagination. Despite the fairy-tale nature of the narrative, the author depicts the reality of the era for the first time, rather than some unknown imaginary world. Once, the story of living people and animated toys, along with the touching love of young Marie for the poor Nutcracker, inspired the creation of the ballet of the same name and the great Russian composer P. I. Tchaikovsky. The uniqueness of this edition is also in the fact that it presents the complete version of Hoffmann's fairy tale.
