Catriona

"Catriona" is the second novel of the duology by Robert Louis Stevenson about the adventures of David Balfour. A young man, becoming the new owner of the Shaws estate, decides to help his friend Alan leave Scotland and restore justice regarding James Stewart, who was falsely accused of a notorious political murder.

However, on David's path stands the Campbell clan, which tries by all means to hinder the young man who has stood up for the life and honor of his friends. But David is not afraid - he boldly throws himself into a whirlwind of dangerous adventures, where he meets his first and true love, the proud beauty Catriona Drummond… the daughter of the outlawed criminal James More and the granddaughter of the legendary Scottish outlaw Rob Roy from the MacGregor clan. 

The novel "Catriona" (as well as the first part of the duology, the novel "Kidnapped") was illustrated by the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, an outstanding master of historical-adventure illustration Anatoly Zinovievich Itkin.
