The Life of Ivan Semyonov

What a second grader and repeating student Ivan Semyonov comes up with to overcome all the hardships and dangers that fill his laborious life! The book about his adventures, written by Lev Davydychev more than half a century ago, became so beloved by readers that a film and an animated film were made based on it. The wonderful illustrations by Anatoly Eliseev and Mikhail Skobelew perfectly convey the affectionate irony with which the author tells about his hero.
