Once Upon a Time There Were Hedgehogs

Irina Mukovnikova, the author of educational fairy tales, knows how to turn useful developmental activities into exciting adventures.

Finger fairy tales — these are kind stories that include finger gymnastics. The child listens to the tale and complements it with gestures shown in the text. Then they color cheerful plot pictures, repeating the story, and answer questions provided at the end of each fairy tale. Such engaging leisure ensures comprehensive development: fine motor skills; speech; attention and memory; perseverance and neatness.

Simultaneous movements with both hands activate interhemispheric interaction. And deep immersion in the story through gestures, coloring, and questions trains the skills of meaningful reading, necessary for successful learning at school.
