The Cockroach

«The Cockroach» — a poem tale about how animals fall under the power of a common fear when a tiny but very noisy bully appears in their path. He showers everyone with loud threats and demands obedience, while those around increasingly believe not in his strength, but in their own fear. Some think of themselves, others worry about their children, and others try to understand who will be the first to resist the panic. The tension here is built not on the actual might of the opponent, but on how quickly confusion engulfs the entire crowd.
