My Phone Rang

This work in the genre of children's poetry is built around a series of telephone conversations. Different animals take turns addressing the hero with requests, and each new line makes the situation even funnier. Here, everyday details, conversational speech, and playful absurdity come together, allowing the action to move quickly and be easily remembered.
