In Search of the King of Fish

This is a story about a boy born in a poor village far in the mountains, where fish is a symbol of prosperity. He enrolls in school but barely manages to learn the alphabet: the teacher is dissatisfied
with the child's excessive curiosity and angrily forbids him from attending classes. Then the hero becomes inspired to gain recognition and somehow elevate his family's social status, which means — to become a fisherman. But where to find a suitable mentor? Fortunately, his father was acquainted with a master fisherman. Thus, the boy and his father set off in search of the old man — the king of fish... An instructive story about the moral development of the hero, his search for self, and the re-evaluation of imposed values.
