Ural Tales

The publication includes twelve classic Ural tales by Pavel Bazhov: «The Mistress of the Copper Mountain», «The Malachite Box», «The Stone Flower» and others.
The text is accompanied by illustrations by Nikolai Kochergin, created in 1966 as a series of collectible postcards. The illustrations, executed in a characteristic realistic style with elements of fairy-tale stylization, transport the reader to the harsh and enchanting world of old Ural — a world of stone-cutting masters, guardians of the earth's depths and magical secrets.
