The White Sail is Lonely

A tale of events that took place more than a hundred years ago still resonates in children's hearts today, as its heroes, gymnasium student Petya Bachey and the grandson of a poor fisherman, Gavrik, are not so different from modern boys: they also dream of justice, make friends, fall in love, and are always ready for adventures. However, «The White Sail is Lonely» — is a story not only about friendship but also about growing up in an era of change, about confronting harsh reality and forming a worldview: the spirit of revolution hangs in the air, unrest occurs in the streets, and even children are engulfed by a sense of an impending storm.
