Listening to Music. Grade 1

The subject "Listening to Music" is an important stage in preparing students for the course in musical literature. During the first three years of study, children become acquainted with a wide range of works, the main means of musical expressiveness, acquire skills in auditory attention and thinking, and learn to talk about music and express their own judgments about it.
This textbook is the result of many years of practice by teachers of the Academic Music School at the Moscow State Conservatory. It is part of the educational and methodological kit "Listening to Music" along with a methodological guide and an interactive electronic publication.
