«Neanderthal Boy and the Big Expedition» — the second book in Luciano Malmuzzi's series about the fun and amazing lives of children in the Ice Age.
The plot centers around the adventures of the kids from the Tribe of Sad Bears. Summer is over, and a new school year begins for the children of the Ice Age. Grandpa Puzan, acting as their teacher, decides to start with a large expedition to hunt a woolly rhinoceros. The young heroes will have to check how well they have learned last year's lessons and face a series of dangerous yet incredibly amusing challenges. During the big expedition, the kids will go wolverine hunting, meet mammoths and cave lions, race against bears, learn to fish with their bare hands, and fight tigers.
