First Mathematics. Games That Teach Counting

First mathematics for toddlers. Board developing games for children. The goal of the "Umnitsa®. First Mathematics" set is to teach your child to count in a fun, playful manner. The set is created based on the Singapore method of teaching counting, the effectiveness of which is proven worldwide. This method of teaching mathematics consists of three stages: object, picture, symbol. Classes begin with a tangible example that allows the child to "feel" and "see" the abstract concept. Learning goes from simple to complex; first, children play and manipulate objects (in our games, these are dragon eggs), then they represent them in the form of pictures and pictograms, and only then do they transition to abstract representations (numbers). The games in the set will help the child understand mathematics, develop a sense of numbers, and introduce them to digits and operations with them. This is more than just memorizing numbers and reciting them in order. The child will understand the logic of calculations and will be able to easily count in their mind. To achieve this, the set includes five games of varying difficulty levels, which are both engaging and educational. The essence of each game:

-Collect the eggs (roulette game) – recognize numbers from 0 to 10 in images of objects.

-Fill the nests (loto type game) – recognize quantities from 1 to 10 in images of objects.

-Familiarize with numbers from 1 to 5.

-Match the number (find a pair type game) – recognize quantities from 1 to 10. Familiarize with numbers 1-10.

-Find the pair (memory type game) – recognize and match quantities and digits from 1 to 10.

-Three in a row (more complex "tic-tac-toe" type game) – repeat all of the above, training strategic thinking.
