The sixth book in the "School Mathematics Circles" series is dedicated to various approaches to comparing and calculating areas and volumes and is intended for classes with students in grades 6-11. It includes developments for four math circle sessions, each of which analyzes problems of varying difficulty in detail and provides methodological guidance for teachers. A list of additional problems is also included. The appendix contains various options for handout materials. This brochure is addressed to school mathematics teachers and leaders of mathematics circles. We hope it will be of interest to students of pedagogical universities, schoolchildren and their parents, as well as all math enthusiasts.
