Poetry of the Silver Age. Children's Album

This book reveals an unexpected side of the poetry of the Silver Age for many. Almost all the major poets of the early 20th century willingly wrote poems for young readers: the rebel Mayakovsky, the tragic Blok, the lyrical Yesenin appear lighter, brighter, and more direct, as if allowing themselves for a moment to become children.
Osip Mandelstam, Konstantin Balmont, Sasha Chorny, and other poets of the Silver Age regularly either published collections specifically composed for children or were published in popular children's magazines of their time — "Tropinka", "Galchonok", "Children's Reading".
