Artem Volkov is an eleven-year-old schoolboy from a small town in Karelia who loves superhero movies, computer games, and basketball. But one day his life takes a drastic turn. In the mirror, he notices a wild beast with burning eyes and sharp fangs and realizes that he is transforming into a wolf. It turns out that ancient blood of the guardians of the forest runs through his veins, and he possesses unique abilities. But the wolf can be both a strength and a curse.
