The Magical World of Hinduism and Tantra

A collection of essays and notes written between 2008 and 2024, previously unpublished in print editions. These essays are dedicated to the most vivid and exciting aspects of Indian culture. They explore warrior goddesses,
the love of earthly men and supernatural women, people possessed by deities, orgiastic celebrations and rituals in honor of the great god of love Kama, who has power over not only ordinary mortals but also deities, the worship of the black cat, and much more. It turns out that there are versions of the "Ramayana" in which Sita fights the thousand-headed Ravana while her husband lies unconscious on the ground, while in other stories, the formidable goddess Kali is embodied in the form of the sweet and mischievous Krishna. Additionally, some essays address modern myths about India created by followers of New Age and pseudo-tantra.
