Psychological Tarot

Tarot cards in the psychologist's work are not a tool for divination, prophecy, and other esoteric procedures. 
Tarot in psychological practice – in counseling, diagnostic, and psychotherapeutic work – has successfully established itself as a projective technique.
That is, a technique aimed at contacting the unconscious part of a person's "I," namely – with what they do not consciously realize but may hinder them from living comfortably and building right relationships with others and with themselves.
Any projective technique, including Tarot, helps to identify and correct projections, gently "bringing out" their root causes from the unconscious "dark depths" of the psyche to the "shore" of awareness.
