The Fall of the Spirits of Darkness

The goal of this lecture course was to show how events occurring in the spiritual worlds affect all spheres of human life, including individual health. As a result of the battle between Archangel Michael and Ahriman in the 19th century, the spiritual world was cleansed, and the demonic hosts were cast down into the world of humans. Through specific examples from cultural, social, and political life (including events in Russia in 1917), R. Steiner shows how demonic beings bring destruction, chaos, and rejection of the truth into the human soul. Those who fall under their influence specifically lose the ability to connect facts into a single picture, and the masses tend to exhibit nationalist tendencies. The author sees the possibility of countering dangerous destructive trends in overcoming the materialistic nature of thinking, proper upbringing of children, and bringing events in the spiritual worlds to people's consciousness.
