Man and World. The Action of Spirit in Nature. On Bees

In a series of lectures, the founder of anthroposophy raises a wide range of questions in the fields of cosmology, history, natural sciences, and agriculture. Using beekeeping as an example, the deepest interconnections that permeate all phenomena of life and create the astonishing wholeness of nature, of which man is also a part, are shown.

The lectures - which can also be called conversations - were delivered to workers engaged in the construction of the Goetheanum. Listeners could ask questions and suggest topics for discussion. The lively, sometimes polemical nature of the presentation allows one to vividly grasp the anthroposophical worldview, which is a complete and consistent opposite to the purely materialistic, mechanistic view of the world.
