The Consciousness of the Initiated

The topic of this lecture course is the knowledge of the supersensible, which does not reject the achievements of modern science. In creating an understanding of genuine spiritual research, R. Steiner analyzes the various states of consciousness that the soul of the modern person can inhabit and shows how, through these states of consciousness, one can interact with the world. Steiner also provides guidance on how to develop these states of consciousness through certain exercises with specific metals.

In addition to the correct path, where knowledge of the spiritual world is acquired through an elevation of consciousness and articulated in concepts, Steiner also examines illegitimate paths that lead only to illusory knowledge: blind belief, immersion in mystical anticipations and dreams, mediumship, and black magic. Steiner also narrates the inevitable interaction with spiritual beings, both benevolent and demonic.
