A. S. Pushkin (1799-1837) — a classic writer who left us a rich literary legacy. His works — the foundation of the «golden fund» of Russian literature. The book contains the tragedy «Boris Godunov», based on real events from Russian history: the unexpected death of the little tsarevich Dmitry led to a whole series of impostors aiming for the Russian throne and became the cause of the Time of Troubles — a difficult period in the life of the Russian people.
