The girl Varya loves making dolls. She even built a city for them on the table — Kukeberg! In this glorious city lives the cheerful jester Tralivald and his lady love Tirlibell. The city is ruled by the gloomy King Vopilevs. The king envies the jester: he himself can neither have fun nor even smile. He plots to kidnap Tirlibell. Thus begins the incredible adventures of the brave jester. He will arrange a candy rain and break the spell of the wicked wizard Mrakimor, ride on the Moon, and delve into the depths of the drawer cave. But the courageous hero will need help not only from his beautiful lady… The story of Tralivald as told by the jester himself was recorded by the skillful storyteller Kuzma Shats, and the artist Darya Subbotina adorned it with refined and truly magical watercolor illustrations.
