Classes in Astronomy and Cosmonautics with Preschoolers

The author of this book is Efrem Pavlovich Levitan (1934–2012), a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, an outstanding science popularizer, and a member of the Union of Writers of Russia. For over half a century, he successfully popularized astronomy and cosmonautics in textbooks, popular science articles, and lectures. In the 2010s, Efrem Pavlovich paid special attention to preschool astronomy; he knew how to engage creatively minded educators and parents. Today, we present one of Efrem Pavlovich's last works on this topic, supplemented with relevant comments from educators and astronomers. The book will be of particular interest to kindergarten teachers, educators from additional education institutions, and parents, grandmothers, and grandfathers of older preschoolers interested in space.
