Katrin Tordazi was born near Stuttgart and grew up on the books of Astrid Lindgren and Michael Ende. Wherever she goes, she always leaves too much money in bookstores, especially in Paris. For someone, being in Paris is a dream come true, but for Lea, it's just another city she is forced to move to. How can one even make friends? But one day, while walking in the Notre-Dame garden, she meets a mysterious stranger who... talks to birds?! Together with a gang of street kids, her new friend named Alex opens up a Paris full of magic for Lea – at least for those who have the gift to see it. But when the girl is suddenly kidnapped, Lea must find the courage to face danger to save her.
