Behind Grandpa's Back

Every child who has ever been taken for a ride on a bicycle has faced this problem: the adult sitting in front blocks everything with their back! And this is exactly the case in this unusual and funny book by Nevo Ziv and illustrator Shahar Kober. Grandpa is taking his grandson through the city; it's not scary behind him, but it's frustratingly hard to see! The rhythm of the phrases mirrors the rhythm of the bicycle rolling through the streets of the city, and the illustrations are drawn as if the reader themselves is sitting behind grandpa, looking around. Even the usual trip home from kindergarten can turn into a real adventure.
