Tales of the Peoples of Asia

In the 1950s, two Leningrad masters - writer Nison Khodza and artist Nikolai Kocherhin created a unique cycle of tales from the peoples of Asia. The cycle includes about one hundred and fifty folklore compositions from eight countries: Burma, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, China, Korea, Mongolia, Japan. Vivid, Eastern-wise, and precise in literary and graphic execution, these tales have entered the golden fund of domestic children's literature. This edition includes eighty-two tales.
