The Tale of Lost Time

The kindest storyteller in the world, Yevgeny Lvovich Schwartz, wrote a fun-form and very deep-meaning tale about how four schoolchildren suddenly became old men and women because they were always late and wasted precious time for nothing. The lively, witty, and colorful illustrations for the tale were drawn by the talented artist Irina Ivanovna Kazakova. Her old boys and young grandfathers remind the little reader of a simple truth: a person who wastes time for no reason does not notice how they grow old.
