Ladushki. Ill. Yu. Vasnetsov

Folk tales, songs, and rhymes – the very children's classics that mark the entry of a child into the world of words and images. Generation after generation listens to stories about the magpie, the little goats, and the burning cat's house, and it seems that nothing more comprehensible and wise has been written for toddlers. The illustrations by Yuri Vasnetsov are also memorable – simple, resembling children's drawings, and therefore very touching.
