The Little Fox with the Rolling Pin

A Russian folk tale about a cunning little fox, who with a simple rolling pin managed to outsmart two villages: in the first, she traded her rolling pin for a hen, and in the second – a hen for a goose. However, in the third village, greed played a cruel trick on her. This short, neat retelling leads the child to the meaning of the proverb “Wanting too much brings no good.”
