Tales about the Fox

Russian folk tales about the fox, one of the main characters in domestic children's folklore, will simply and clearly tell young readers how important it is to be kind to one another, to help friends in difficult times, and to cherish friendship.

The collection includes the tales "The Fox and the Crab", "How the Fox Learned to Fly", "The Fox and the Crane", "The Fox and the Pitcher", and "The Fox and the Thrush". The illustrations for them were created by Yuri Vasnetsov, a recognized master of children's book illustration.
