Lelya and Minka

Many writers have spoken about their childhood, but perhaps no one has managed to do it as simply, soulfully, amusingly, and sincerely as Mikhail Mikhailovich Zoshchenko. His Lelya and Minka were mischievous and traveled at the beginning of the now past 19th century, and since then generations of children have been eager to follow the adventures of the brother and sister, to listen together with them to the strict but fair lessons from their father - and little by little, unnoticed by themselves, to become better and kinder.
