The First Law of Shurupchik

Shurka Dobrynin is twelve years old. He would be glad to be Sanya or Shurka. At least Alexander! But with his mother's gentle touch, everyone calls him Shurupchik. One day after karate practice, Shurupchik comes into possession of an antique compass (it must be said, not quite honestly). That's where the adventures of our hero begin: sometimes he saves a girl from trouble, sometimes he gets a real owl, and sometimes he helps an unfamiliar grandmother. Each time after a good deed, Shurupchik mysteriously gets one wish granted. The boy understands: he has discovered the law of the compass. It's simple: I give to you, and you give to me. But in reality, it's all different: doing good deeds is not as easy as it seems… Shurka refuses a friend, betrays a brother, and in the pursuit of elusive happiness, he fails to do the most important thing. Will Shurupchik be able to fix everything he has done, and will he find a way out of the difficult situation?
