In the new book, Jefferson and his friend, pig Gilbert, receive a strange note from their acquaintance, the rabbit Simona, asking them to watch over her house while she is away. Suspecting something is wrong, Jefferson and Gilbert turn to the elderly badger Hilda and boar Walter Scott for help, and together in an old car, they set off to find out what happened. Their instincts were not wrong: Simona is in danger!
