8 Lives of Mrs. Muk

In the nursing home "Golden Sunset," residents often come up with stories. Therefore, when one of them, the elderly Mrs. Muk, begins to share her memories, she meets a skeptical reaction from the listeners. The woman claims that she was a mother, a lover, a slave, a spy, a killer, and a terrorist. In her tales, events come to life that took place in Indonesia during World War II, Seoul during the Korean War, and Pyongyang during the Cold War. The stories are colorful and frightening, and so diverse that it is hard to believe they could happen to one person. Or could they?
