Friends-Dinosaurs. Expedition

Each book in the series "Friends-Dinosaurs" tells about one day in the life of the Tyrannosaurus Rasmus Rex and his best friend Trim Troodon. In the book "Expedition," Trim invites Rasmus to explore what lies to the north of Dinosauria, beyond the Rocky Mountains. The timid Rasmus fears that beyond the mountains live crocodile mosquitoes and other monster dinosaurs, and he does not want to leave home without permission. But the true adventurer Trim convinces him that beyond the mountains, there are only good, kind dinosaurs. And that they, along with Rasmus, will quickly run to the edge of the map, peek beyond the Rocky Mountains, and come right back. Nobody will even know. But things don't go quickly. Ahead of the friends await steep cliffs, steep climbs, and other dangers, and it is unclear how this expedition would end if it weren't for the vigilance of Mama Rex.

The series of books about the adventures of the friends-dinosaurs was created and illustrated by writer Lars Mele and artist Lars Rudebjer. They created the entire country of Dinosauria, where on each page, a child awaits something funny and unexpected. The book has a lot of dialogues, so it is perfect for reading aloud and role-playing with children aged 4 and up.

In addition to the exciting plot and charming characters, there is a small educational section at the beginning and end of the book. Young readers will learn some interesting facts about when dinosaurs lived on Earth and why they disappeared, and will be introduced to real dinosaurs—prototypes of the book's heroes.
