About a Silly Mouse

A patient, but not very smart mother mouse submits to her son's whims, who does not want to fall asleep, and sets out in search of a nanny. The little one does not want to see a duck, a frog, a pig, a horse, or a pike in the role of nanny, and eventually chooses a cat.

The story about the little fussbudget ends with an ellipsis: "The mother mouse ran in, looked at the bed, searching for the silly little mouse, but the mouse was nowhere to be seen...".
